We really could talk about this for ages. On your question of whether it is even possible to live a contemplative life as a creative person, now. I genuinely don’t know but have been asking myself the same thing almost on a daily basis. 🌚🌞 So much undoing to be done x

I'm just laughing (with a hint of hysteria) because YES (also #enneagramfour -- I *see* you).

"a love of freedom, sensitivity to what others think, desire to prioritize “real acts of creation,” content not included. " <--- um. yes. *wipes tear* ;)

Leaving the cave. As a fellow cave-dweller, who is quite happily ensconsed in said cave....and also knows she needs to emerge at some point...I suppose that's my living question for this year: how do I honour my need for solitude/silence with the necessary work of sharing my work? Is it even possible to live a contemplative life as a creative person in this fast-paced world? What are the sacrifices that will need to be made? Definitely a living question...and as Rilke said, the answer is probably less important than the living into it.

So grateful for your voice and your work. I feel like we could talk about this for ages...
